  • 18 years of experience as senior consultant and chief executive officer of AEX Consultoria, a company that provides highly qualified technical consulting services to a number of dairy companies and related organizations.

  • Practical experience in conducting Research and Development Programs involving dairy products, such as: yogurt and other cultured products, dairy desserts, UHT milk, blends of cream, different styles and varieties of cheese, processed cheese and dairy beverages.

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and management of quality assessment and monitoring systems applied to raw materials, intermediary products, manufacturing processes and finished products.

  • Successful experience in developing and conducting production cost reduction programs.

  • Responsible for preparing all necessary documentation and accompanying official procedures (Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture - Federal Inspection Services) with the objective to obtain approval for the construction, remodeling and/or enlargement of new and existing industrial dairy processing units, including the registration of specific dairy products and product labels.

  • Elaboration of studies of the Brazilian dairy market, including evaluation of the major milk producing regions and market potentialities.

  • Over 27.5 years of professional experience in one of Brazil's largest producers of pasteurized milk, holding a first-class managerial function as main executive responsible for quality assurance and product safety for more than 12 years.

  • Coordinator of the annual Tetra Rex and Tetra Pak Quality Reward (quality contest that identifies the best producers of type B milk in Brazil) in 1994 and 1995.

  • Natural ability to speak in public, including addressing large audiences.

  • English: good reading skill and ability to translate technical materials from English to Portuguese.

  • Proficiency in Spanish.

  • Graduated in Dairy Technology from the Institute of Zootechnology and Cattle-breeding Industries of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnology of São Paulo State University (USP).

  • Complementary Professional Extension Course at the Dairy Center of the Austral University of Chile.
